How much does a small business website cost in New Jersey?

A small business website has two costs: a one-time build and a monthly running cost. Setup cost vs. monthly cost
The setup fee pays for design, copy, building, and launch. The monthly fee usually covers hosting, security updates, content changes, and any marketing tools that run every day, such as email or text follow-up.
When you compare quotes, add the first year together: setup plus twelve months. A low setup fee with a high monthly fee, or the reverse, can come out the same.
What drives the price
Most of the price comes from how much the site has to do, not how many pages it has.

- Who writes the copy and supplies the photos
- Integrations: online ordering, booking, a POS, or a CRM
- Search setup: titles, structured data, Search Console, and Google Business Profile
- Follow-up tools: email and text campaigns that run after the visit

Costs that are not in the website quote
Ask every designer which third-party costs are excluded. Common ones are the domain, payment processing, ordering or booking software, POS fees, email-sending and texting platforms, and stock photos. ClickMingo does not take a percentage of client orders; vendor fees that apply are listed in the proposal.
What ClickMingo's plans include
Growth ($1,995 setup + $399/mo) is the complete system for one location: a custom website, a customer database, technical, local, and AI-search SEO setup, sign-up forms, text and email campaigns within fair-use limits, and hosting, updates, and support.
Full System ($3,500 setup + $599/mo) adds online ordering or booking integration, automated missed-call text-back, automated review requests and reactivation campaigns, monthly campaign management, and analytics reviews. Multi-location and special builds are quoted as custom work.

When the cheap option costs more
A cheap site that nobody can find, that does not take orders or bookings, or that you cannot move away from can cost more than a higher quote. Before you sign, check that the domain is in your name and that you can export your content and customer data.
